Hello, I’m Dustin!

Growing up watching The Fast and the Furious, I was captivated by the world of high-speed thrills and intricate machinery. A couple of decades later that fascination led me to acquire a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, a project that has become my hands-on classroom for all things mechanical. It just seems like a wild idea to own this car and I’ve decided to make it happen.

With this car I’m revisiting childhood dreams and diving headfirst into car mechanics. I know nothing about working on cars! I’m going to change that. I know I have an interesting, difficult, and rewarding road ahead of me. I plan on sharing as much as possible of the things I learn, and my progress on the car.
